Hey there! I'm Partheo, or Parr. I started out as a spriter for Space Station 13, a little open-source multiplayer game I really enjoy. Wasn't very good, but I got a lot of practice and ended up moving to full-on pixel art of dragons and other such things. I'm still a novice but love to critique art and help others improve their spriting skills.

Here's my github. It's not very active at the moment, but most of the works I'm proud of are there. I also have a twitter where I post my pixel art.

Haven't done much art lately due to work but I hope to get back into it and really master my skills. Hopefully a lot of pixel dragons from me in the future

I'm terrible at intros so come on a journey with me as I stumble through it.

I'm fairly new to pixel art, started about a year or so ago and I feel like I've learned a lot but would always love feedback. I took fine arts in college and was more accustomed to drawing things with fine liners but once I started doing digital media I became fairly addicted to it.

I want to make a pixel RPG and a roguelike but that's slow going.

Other past times include asking my dog who the good girl is and wood working, because why not.

Hello. I've lurked here for ages, mostly grabbing palettes for my own projects. I sometimes take commissions, but art in general is mostly a hobby and a means of self-improvement to me. As well as pixel art, I also use conventional art software and experiment with gouache and colored pencils when I want something more tactile to play with.

I also enjoy crafting - specifically needlefelting - and tabletop gaming as well as video games. (Well, I guess everyone who enjoys pixel art probably got here through video games one way or another...)

I thought I would join up here because I'm looking for more art communities that might give me feedback and inspiration. I've also recently been trying to make proper tilesets because most of the TTRPGs I run are online, and being able to create assets out of pixel art very quickly would be incredibly useful to a GM. Bit silly, I suppose, especially since there are plenty of free-use or cheap tilesets on Itch, but after building maps out of other peoples' assets for a while, I would like to take a shot at making my own. It also guarantees some aesthetic consistency.

I have a Newgrounds where I post my pixel art, as well as my other works.

Here are some examples of my work. It's nothing too fancy but I hope it is at least interesting.

Old, dead-assed Rowlands here... My big hobby is wandering around my town and its surrounding area (13 miles yesterday). I'm anything BUT a programmer, digital artist, or any of that: I don't take pixel art seriously at all, but as far as I know, I drew my first little sprite back in 2013. I just want to heck around on this old website (which I used to be more active in back in the day...)

As a casual I don't see pixel art as distinct from any other form of two-dimensional computer graphics, except that "pixel art" requires greater limitations such as resolution and color usage. So, that scribble you drew in MS Paint as a little kid could very well count!
