Hey! I'm a pixelartist and I love landscapes
I find myself in a constant search for ways to improve my workflow. It would be interesting to read your favorite discoveries, it could be some tool, drawing technique or a useful trick that marked your way of approaching pixelart and improving your flow. Something that has helped me a lot is an option that Aseprite has to adjust the hue and saturation with a preview, it allows me to find the best color applied in the context anytime I want very quickly and focus my atention on other things. Helps me because I used to take a long time looking for the best color and ended up changing it right away. Now I change it all the time efficiently.
I think it is unique because the pixels are the most simplified form of digital art, that's why it brings so much people with different backgrounds to a same place. The most intense collective feeling that it brings is nostalgia, but it is not the only one for sure since this art form can be super flexible to our eyes in a digital world and can make us feel fear, tenderness, tranquility, etc.
Hey! I'm Maru I've been doing pixelart since 2016 for fun and it is slowly turning into my part time job since I started posting and actively improving. I just love pixelart and landscapes, it is a safe space for me where I can express, share with people and do pretty stuff. I think this forum will contribute a lot to the pixelart community, I'm very excited to be part of it.
